Frameworks, sources and names

The frameworks in our products were developed by many people over decades. We credit the author or the source where the origin is well established and say so when it is disputed. Names such as ADKAR (Prosci), Blue Ocean Strategy (W. Chan Kim and Renée Mauborgne) and the Business Model Canvas (Strategyzer AG, licensed under CC BY-SA 3.0) belong to their owners and are used only to identify the ideas. Chalkbrief is not affiliated with or endorsed by any of these owners, or by any company or consulting firm mentioned in our material.

Examples

Organizations, people and numbers in our worked examples are fictional and simplified for teaching. Any resemblance to real companies or people is coincidental.

Earnings and results disclaimer

Nothing we publish is a promise or prediction of any result. Frameworks help you think and communicate; they do not guarantee a business outcome, a promotion, a raise, a job, income or sales. Your results, if any, depend on your work, your organization, your market and many factors outside anyone's control. Many people who buy educational material never act on it. We have not verified and do not publish typical results of purchasers.

Any stories or examples in our products or advertising are illustrative. Where we show a customer's words, they are that person's experience, not a promise of yours.

Page images and mockups on our site and in our advertising show our products. They may be styled for publication, and the files you receive may differ in minor details as we correct and update them.
